If Democrats are to take back control of the House this November, they’ll need to hold the line in the Keystone State, home to three of their most vulnerable incumbents.

In Lehigh Valley’s swingy 7th District, Republicans will pick their nominee to challenge Democratic Rep. Susan Wild. The three-way primary has attracted little outside attention, but whoever wins will run in one of the most evenly-divided districts in the country.

Republicans are also targeting Rep. Matt Carwright in northeastern Pennsylvania's 8th District and Rep. Chris Deluzio in the Pittsburgh's-based 17th District, but neither will have competitive primaries. Wealthy construction company CEO Rob Bresnahan is the presumptive nominee in the 8th, and state Rep. Rob Mercuri doesn’t have any serious opponents in the GOP primary for the 17th.

Democrats also have at least one offensive opportunity in the increasingly competitive 10th District, held by former Freedom Caucus Chairman Scott Perry. A crowd of Democrats have thrown their hats in the ring, but longtime local news anchor Janelle Stelson looks like the favorite to win the nomination.
