With 2024 here at last, Amy Walter discusses the two biggest questions on her mind as the election heats up.

[00:00:00] Hello and welcome to First Person. Actually, it's the first First Person of 2024.
And so, I would like to start this year with two things I'm watching for in 2024. The first is, will this election be a referendum on the current incumbent? Or the former incumbent. Now, usually elections are about the president that's currently in office. Do you want four more years of this person? Or do you want to take a chance on a new person and put them into office? Obviously, the two frontrunners right now, one is the incumbent, the other is the person who used to be the incumbent, Donald Trump. So, essentially this election, the question is, do you want four more years of Biden? Or do you want four more years of Donald Trump?
