CO-01: Diana DeGette (D) - Central: Denver
Solid Democratic. This prohibitively blue Denver district got a whole lot more interesting in February when former state House Speaker Crisanta Duran launched a challenge DeGette in next June's primary rather than run for Senate. Duran, 39, is roughly the same age DeGette was when she was first elected in 1996, and after Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ayanna Pressley toppled longtime incumbents in 2018, it's a race to take seriously.
