It certainly is hard for me to relate to University of Alabama and New York Jets quarterback Joe Namath's 1969 fun autobiography, I Can't Wait Until Tomorrow ... 'Cause I Get Better-Looking Every Day. But in terms of politics these days, I do feel that I "can't wait until tomorrow ... 'cause Campaign 2016 is getting better every day." Or at least it's getting stranger, more interesting, and more fun. It should be pointed out that some of the chapters in Namath's politically incorrect book—including "I Never Drink at Halftime" and "I Like My Women Blonde and My Johnny Walker Red"—remind me that Namath was to pro football in those days what Donald Trump is today: a flamboyant and fascinating figure, though not necessarily a role model for kids.
