On Tuesday, 32 allies arrive in Washington for the NATO summit, not just to mark the 75th anniversary of the organization, but also to deal with several critical issues, most notably Ukraine’s war with Russia and its (likely futile) bid for NATO membership. Biden is scheduled to welcome the leaders with a speech at the Mellon Auditorium on Tuesday night, conduct meetings with allies on Wednesday, and host the world leaders that night at the White House.
