Highlights from last night's primaries in Nevada, South Carolina, Maine, North Dakota and the special election in Ohio's 6th District:
- Army veteran Sam Brown easily won the Republican nomination to take on Sen. Jacky Rosen in Nevada.
- Despite facing millions of dollars in outside spending, Rep. Nancy Mace won her primary in South Carolina’s 1st District. Rep. William Timmons had a much closer primary fight in South Carolina’s 4th District.
- Abysmal turnout led to a surprise in the special election in Ohio’s 6th District. Republican State Sen. Michael Rulli only defeated Democratic Air Force veteran Michael Kripchak by nine points in a district Trump won by 30 points.
