[00:00:00] Hey, this is David Wasserman House Editor for the Cook Political Report with Amy Walter, and there's a lot, we still don't know about 2024. But one thing we do know is that the race for the House is gonna run through California and New York. These are two states where Democrats underperformed last cycle, and together they're home to 11 of the 18 House Republicans who sit in districts that Joe Biden carried in the 2020 presidential election.
So let's take a look at California. There are three Republicans in the state who represent seats that Joe Biden carried by double digits,
