I'm Erin Covey, the US House races editor for the Cook Political Report, and I'm gonna be walking you all through how we see the House battleground now two months out from the election. So it's been a roller coaster for the last couple of months. We had a disastrous debate performance from Biden at the top of the ticket. We had an assassination attempt on Trump, and now we have a reset presidential race with Kamala Harris at the top of the ticket.So it's been difficult to track the trickle down effects of all of this turmoil at the top of the ticket on the house races, which as we all know are really tied to the national political environment.
