With Democrats just three seats away from a house majority, they're looking for any opportunity that they can to put Republicans on defense.The first electoral test will come next week when we have two special elections for two vacant Florida seats. One of these seats is located in the Panhandle. It was previously represented by Republican congressman Matt Gaetz, who, of course, has been scandal ridden and resigned at the beginning of the session. The second district was represented by congressman Mike Walz, who has been in the news this past week for some other matters as a member of the Trump administration now, but his seat will also be filled soon.
