Hey. I'm Jessica Taylor. I'm the senate and governors editor here at the Cook Political Report with Amy Walter. And this week, I have a piece exploring how the top of the ticket switch for the Democrats going from president Biden to vice president Harris has impacted senate races. And sort of the short answer is we don't fully know yet, actually. I think that, you know, in the switch that's happened in the past three weeks, we've certainly seen an increase of enthusiasm among Democrats that Harris has managed to excite younger voters, voters of color in a way that Biden wasn't. But we've seen sort of a unique phenomenon happening in senate races in that these democratic incumbents were, in many cases, significantly outrunning the top of the ticket with Biden even as we saw his numbers
