B.S., University of Georgia, Athens, Ga., 1980; pharmacist; business owner;
member of the Pooler, Ga., city council, 1994-1995; Mayor of Pooler, Ga.,
1996-2004; member of the Georgia state house of representatives, 2005-2009;
member of the Georgia state senate, 2009-2014; elected as a Republican to the
One Hundred Fourteenth and to the succeeding Congress (January 3,
2015-present).
