Lauderdale, Fl., 1977; B.S.A., University of Florida, Gainesville, Fla., 1979;
D.V.M., University of Florida, Gainesville, Fla., 1983; large animal
veterinarian; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Thirteenth and to the
two succeeding Congresses (January 3, 2013-present).

Solid Republican. Yoho upset GOP Rep. Cliff Stearns in a huge 2012 primary surprise, and attorney Jake Rush is hoping to turn the tables on the first-termer. Rush, a role-playing gamer and self-described "vampire of the Tea Party," is being helped by his father's PAC, which is airing an ad accusing Yoho of taking a $20,000 "junket" funded by special interests and "feeding at the trough" in DC. It's one of the most bizarre primaries of the cycle, but it's worth watching Yoho's margin.
