RACE ANALYSIS

The Bottom Line

Updated: Oct 4, 2019

MD-04: Anthony Brown (D) - DC suburbs: Prince George's Co., Severna Park
Solid Democratic. The House was Brown's consolation prize after losing the 2014 governor's race, but he had to win a competitive 2016 primary over Prince George's County prosecutor Glenn Ivey to get there. Ever since, he has held this African-America majority seat easily.
