Wenstrup, a podiatrist, earned praise from his colleagues for tying a tourniquet that may have saved Rep. Steve Scalise's life amid the congressional baseball shooting in 2017. This suburban Cincinnati district voted for President Trump with 56 percent in 2016 and Wenstrup took 58 percent in 2018. He's safe in 2020.
