of Wyoming, Laramie, Wyo., 1985; business executive; staff, United States House
of Representatives Select Committee to Investigate Covert Arms Transactions
with Iran, 1986-1987; attorney, United States Department of Justice, 1987-1990;
attorney, Office of the United States Attorney, District of Colorado,
1990-2002; Weld County Colorado, district attorney, 2005-2014; unsuccessful
candidate for election to the United States Senate in 2010; elected as a
Republican to the One Hundred Fourteenth and to the succeeding Congress
(January 3, 2015-present).
