FINSTAD, Brad, a Representative from Minnesota; born in New Ulm, Brown County, Minn., May 30, 1976; graduated from St. James High School, St. James, Minn.; B.S., University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minn.; staff, United States Representative Mark Kennedy of Minnesota, 2001-2002; farmer; agriculture consultant and executive; member of the Minnesota state house of representatives, 2003-2008; Minnesota state director, United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development, 2017-2021; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Seventeenth Congress, by special election, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of United States Representative Jim Hagedorn (August 9, 2022-present).
