Pop quiz: Which Senate incumbent or candidate running in 2016 has spent the most money on TV so far? Go ahead, crack open our Senate Ratings and work your way out from the competitive middle. It's not Mark Kirk in Illinois, the cycle's most vulnerable incumbent, who already has seen $5 million spent against him on broadcast TV by environmentalists. Not Kelly Ayotte in New Hampshire, where no fewer than 10 different advertisers have hit the air at least briefly, nor Ron Johnson in Wisconsin (six, including a big-spending pro-Johnson super PAC). Not Michael Bennet in Colorado, or Rob Portman or Pat Toomey in Ohio or Pennsylvania (more than $15 million across all three).

Nor is it either of the House members looking to move up in the open seats in Florida or Nevada, or even one of the incumbents in the "Likely" category.
