STANTON, Greg, a Representative from Arizona; born in Long Island, N.Y., March 8, 1970; graduated from Cortez High School, Phoenix, Ariz.; B.A., Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisc., 1992; J.D., University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich., 1995; lawyer, private practice; member of the Phoenix, Ariz., city council, 2000-2009; deputy attorney general, Ariz. state attorney general's office, 2009-2011; Mayor of Phoenix, Ariz., 2012-2018; elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Sixteenth and to the succeeding Congress (January 3, 2019-present).
