UtahUT-01: OPEN (Bishop) (R) - North: Ogden, Logan Solid Republican. Bishop, term-limited out as chair of the House Natural Resources Committee at the end of the last Congress, is following through on his pledge to retire after his ninth term and just joined a ticket to run for lieutenant governor. The race for this solid red northern Utah seat will be decided in the June 30 GOP primary, and a month before the May 19 filing deadline, it's already drawn a crowd.
