Republican plumbing businessman Markwayne Mullin and Democratic former prosecutor Rob Wallace have impressed operatives on their respective sides, and Republicans recently tapped Mullin to give their weekly radio address. At one point, Democrats believed they could keep this open seat if Wallace was able to make the race about water rights. But President Obama would be lucky to crack 30 percent of the vote in once solidly Democratic eastern Oklahoma, so it's extremely uphill for any Democrat not named Boren.
