Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow will face former U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra in the general election. Stabenow’s poll numbers showed some softness early in the cycle, but are now healthier. While Hoekstra is an experienced candidate, he probably needed the presidential race to be competitive in order to gain some traction here. The race is in the Likely Democratic column.
