Top Senate and gubernatorial primaries resume in earnest this Tuesday, June 2, with states trying to adapt during the COVID-19 pandemic and most of the elections being done almost entirely by mail and absentee ballots. There are important primary contests that factor heavily into the overall battle for the Senate and the most competitive gubernatorial race this fall too. Iowa Senate: Can Greenfield turn in a strong performance?
Ernst, 49, has no primary competition, and it’s the race to challenge the Republican in November that will be the most-watched Senate contest of the evening.
