Amy Walter: [00:00:00] Hi there. Welcome to First Person. This is Amy Walter. I am here to talk today about polls. That's right, a number of high quality, very high profile polls have come out in the last couple of days. One from the Wall Street Journal, one from CNN that show. Surprise, surprise. The race for the White House is very, very close.
In the case of CNN. It is essentially a tie between Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee and President Biden with Trump at 47% and Biden at 46. The Wall Street Journal poll shows the two tied at 46%. Now, there seemed to be some consternation or maybe confusion about how the race could be this close Once again.
