Touro Law Center, Long Island, N.Y., 1991; lawyer; Nassau County, N.Y.,
district attorney, 2005-2014; unsuccessful candidate for election as New York
state attorney general in 2010; elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred
Fourteenth and to the succeeding Congress (January 3,
